BIRKENHEAD Point Marina is a full service, 201-berth marina located in the quiet no-wash zone of Iron Cove Bay, 10 minutes west of Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Birkenhead Point Marina has the accreditation of “5-gold anchor platinum” under the Global Gold Anchor Scheme. This accreditation recognises the marina’s luxury, unrivalled location and world-class member’s facilities that tenants and casual overnight visitors have access to.
Unlike any other marina on Sydney Harbour, Birkenhead Point’s member facilities comprise of world-class family suites, five star club lounge with integrated kitchen, full service refueling wharf with Shell fuel (both diesel and 95 premium unleaded) located adjacent to premium retail precinct, Birkenhead Point – Sydney’s first-class brand outlet centre. The centre provides convenient and direct access to top quality restaurants, international fashion and lifestyle brands, as well as supermarkets and a medical centre.
The marina also provides services for paddle sports. Kayak rack and stack tenants have access to all of the marina’s facilities along with the easy to access launch platform to head out on the Harbour for some exercise and sightseeing.
In keeping with the marina’s International Clean Marina, Fish Friendly status the Birkenhead Point signed a pledge with the Marina Industries Association in 2019 to eliminate single use plastic waste. Initiatives the marina has undertaken include; removing all plastic bottles from the kiosk fridges to sell only bottled cold drinks in containers that can be recycled, compostable bags and enviro bags are available for customers, bio coffee cups with bio lids are used for take away hot beverages, the option to BYO your own coffee cup is available providing customers with a discount incentive, the marina even has its own branded Keepcups available for purchase.
