Product designer Sean Dunphy came up with the idea after colliding with a partially submerged log floating in Sydney Harbour severely damaging his boats hull and motor.
“‘I was out on the harbour and visibility through my windscreen was average when we ran over a submerged log making the boat lurch violently to one side. We were lucky no one was hurt and didn’t capsize. Like a lot of families, I had my wife and two children in the boat with me at the time. Later that night I came up with the idea of the Booster Buddy.”
