Top boats from the Sydney International Boat Show

HERE are five of the most interesting and innovative boats we spotted at the recent Sydney International Boat Show.

Cruise Craft Fish 360 M
Cruise Craft’s latest model had fishos salivating at the Sydney Boat Show with a quality centre console form the respected Queensland manufacturer.

At 6.35m long, the Fish 360M is a purpose built specialist fishing fibreglass boat with over 700 litres of storage, a well designed console, T-Top, self drawing floor, loads of rod and tackle storage, plus heaps more.

Packages start at $79,990 with a Yammie 150hp four stroke, hydraulic steering, 210 litre fuel tank, dual battery system, offshore safety gear and more.

Surtees 540 Hardtop Workmate
The Surtees 540 Workmate hits that sweet spot for Aussie fishos with a generous cockpit and a hardtop for protection from the elements.

The New Zealand-built boat is the smallest hard top in the range and features patented Razortech super smooth riding hull and Anti-roll Stability Ballast Technology.

The 190L water ballast offers the ability to add weight for stabilisation at rest, or additional weight can be locked in with the Anti-Roll Lock shut off gate for added weight when underway.

Featuring 5mm bottoms and 4mm sides, the 540 has a maximum rating of 100hp and a 100 litres of fuel, plus a bunch of fishing-friendly features in a neat package.

Edencraft 6m Offshore

The legendary Edencraft 6m Offshore features a 22-degree deadrise hull in a tough package for the serious fisho.

The latest version of this time-honoured hull features a frew changes with an extended keel-line to where the pod used to end, giving the boat 6.20m length as well as buoyancy in the rear where it’s needed for modern four-stroke engines and twin fit-ups.

Edencraft has done a fine job on the fit out with a modern, yet robust take on this classic model.

This boat featured twin 150hp four-stroke Mercs, making it one awesome package.

Northbank 750 Hard Top

Featuring twin 200hp four stroke Mercury, the flagship of the Northbank range, the 750HT features a newly designed cabin, offers a larger sleeping area and an ergonomic dash layout to accommodate large screen electronics, switch gear and digital gauge systems.

With a metre of freeboard, a huge working deck area of over 5m2, trim tabs and a 350 litre underfloor tank floor as standard, the 750HT offers some serious offshore credentials.

This boat featured a full suite of quality Garmin electronics.
