MARINE biologists from the University of Western Australia’s Oceans Institute have released a video that gives a glimpse into the marvels of the little-known, economic powerhouse that is the Great Southern Reef (GSR). We’ve all heard of the Great Barrier Reef but the GSR extends for 8000kms and across 5 different states. Running from NSW right around the South to Western Australia the system contributes more than $10 billion dollars to our economy annually.
