A NEW top dog has been welcomed into the Certate family with the release of a 5000 model in late June.

Big on power and performance, the 19 Certate LT 5000 features 10CRBBs, 12 kg of drag, a large EVA knob for optimum cranking comfort and control, while its 295 g weight keeps things light and nimble for a reel of its size, to minimise angler fatigue, and maximise rod and reel balance and performance. The 19 Certate LT 5000 is the lightweight, ultra-strong, ultra-precise work horse that all anglers are going to fall in love with.

Rolling out between late June through to early September, there will also be new ARK models ranging from 3000-5000. These come with an Aluminum Power Knob that not only looks great but will give anglers more leverage and cranking power.

A king amongst men, Certate has always set a standard in poise and power, and the January 2019 release of the Certate LT combined Daiwa’s most advanced technologies and designs and elevated those traits to a whole new level.

Made in Japan, the foundation of the 19 Certate LT is its aluminium MQ Monocoque body which eliminates the need for a side plate and allows for a more rigid body and larger gears for improved winding power and torque. The new super-sized, ultra-strong forged machine-cut Tough Digigear is 2mm larger in diameter than its closest competitor and rotation efficiency is also up 15%, creating an effortless feel when retrieving.

Additional features like a super-rigid stainless steel main shaft, Long Cast ABS spool, Magseal, ATD drag, one-piece Air Bail, new Drag Knob, Perfect Line Stopper, Machined Aluminium Air Handle, and Air Rotor make the 19 Certate LT our most advanced Certate ever.
