DO you want to troll fast and deep but using line classes that still allows you to enjoy the fight rather than drag the fish in on heavy gear?  Well the team at Halco have come up with the answer.

Halco has a brand new Laser Pro 190XDD “Crazy Deep” bib that trolls faster and is more stable than its predecessor, while reducing the amount of drag required to hold the lure in place. The new 6 m+ diver should find favour amongst serious tournament and sport fishing anglers alike.

In the field, the new Laser Pro 190XDD bib has been trolled to 13 kt in calm conditions but it’s the rough, choppy stuff that can get most lures into trouble. Troll at anything like normal bibbed trolling lure speeds in these conditions and the new Laser Pro 190XDD will eat it up, according to manufacturers.

“The new bib is going to be a fantastic addition to the range because of its stability and versatility” said Ben Patrick, Halco Tackle’s Managing Director. “We had the bib regularly hitting bottom in 6.5 m of water during testing on a 50 lb outfit with 80 lb leader. The beauty is that you can run it on 10 kg line at 6-8 kt in just about any conditions that you are likely to fish and have very few issues while doing it.”

The all new “crazy deep” bib has already racked up some impressive captures including numerous southern bluefin tuna up to 96 kg, wahoo and mackerel. It will handle almost anything you care to throw at it.
