NEW to Shimano’s expanding light jigging reel range is the Genpu XT, designed for vertical fishing styles with slow style jigs and bait.
Large overheads still have their place on the boat, but these heavier options can become difficult to handle during a long fishing session, especially in rough conditions. This is where the Genpu XT comes into its own, offering a more compact low-profile design which fits comfortably in the hand.
Fitted with 3+1 Shielded A-RB bearings, the reel is smooth and has great durability. The 200 size features a Ci4+ handle knob and the smaller 150 size has a double paddle knob, providing great grip and control when winding or fighting a fish. With a varying max drag pressure ranging between 4.5 kilograms (150 size) to 5 kilograms (200 size), the Genpu XT has plenty of stopping power.
