THE 2021 Australian Fishing Trade Association (AFTA) tackle show has been cancelled.
The annual AFTA tackle show brings together brands, distributors, retailers, media and the public to showcase the latest fishing tackle, outdoor and adventure gear. The three day event was scheduled to take place from 8 July at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
AFTA president Michael Starkey said in a video announcement the decision was based on recent border closures in response to the Sydney covid-19 cluster and to ensure the health and safety of AFTA members.
