Iconic Aussie tackle company Alvey has released a couple of new fishing accessories just in time for summer.
Alvey says its very popular Green and Gold wading bag has been a market leader for nearly 10 years. As a result Alvey has added a bigger, bolder wading bag to its accessory line up. The New Premium Alvey bag is bigger and made of much heavier fabric to withstand fish spikes and other wear and tear.
Anglers rely on their wading bag when walking long distances on the beach or when fishing shoulder to shoulder during a ferocious bite period. The new bag features a host of accessory holders and is very well equipped to allow the angler to fish for longer periods without having to go back to the 4WD or camp to get fresh supplies of bait or rigs. The new bag features a heavier strap with a rubber shoulder pad for comfort, pocket for small tackle boxes and bait, a drink holder, fish ruler pocket to suit the Alvey fish ruler (with printed frequently updated common specie sizes and bag limits for each Australian State), bait knife holder, worm pliers holder, hook disgorger pocket, reflector safety strip for night fishing on the rocks or beach, heavy duty fast draining panels in the bottom of the bag and pockets. Alvey has also released a “Glow in the Dark” handle to suit its reels. The knob style handle fits all large drag reels and larger direct wind models. After about 10 seconds of bright torch light the glow will last over an hour. This allows you to see your handle moving if you are away from the reel at night or just see where to grab your handle instantly when fishing at night.
