Another 5000 trout cod for the Macquarie River

ANOTHER 5,000 endangered trout cod from the Narrandera Fisheries Centre were released into the Macquarie River at Bathurst this week as part of the National Trout Cod Recovery Program. Over 160,000 trout cod have now been liberated into the Macquarie River since 2009 in an effort to re-establish the species within their former range of distribution.
