The Aquaz Amphibian soft-shell Jacket is a typical example of a lightweight all-weather soft-shell jacket. The Amphibian’s weather-resistance is achieved through a sophisticated stretch-woven, polyester and spandex fabric with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment designed to keep the wind, rain and snow at bay in all but the most severe weather conditions.
The interior is lined with a warm micro-fleece as are the hand-warmer pockets. The front zipper and chest accessory pocket zipper are both the water-resistant YKK Aquaguard type. The cuffs can be adjusted via Velcro tabs while the waist is adjustable via dual elastic draw-cords.
Being a lightweight style soft-shell the Amphibian can serve as a water-resistant outer shell and be comfortably packed into the back of a vest when not required or simply worn as a mid and outer shell in one.
