Our Fishy Photos competition has been well supported since we launched the Fisho site early last year.
Typical of the entries we receive from keen fishos from around the country is this one from Peter Shelley of Gundaroo in NSW.
In the accompanying email with his photo entry Peter said:
"I was recently on holidays in Queensland with the family from Gundaroo NSW and as a surprise for my 16-year-old and 13-year-old (a fishing nut) sons I booked a couple of days at Lake Monduran to see if we could catch a barra. As the lake had risen so far from the recent rain walking the banks was out so we enlisted the help of local guide Rob Howell (who also manages the holiday park).
"All I hoped for was for was that the boys caught a fish but no joy for them and much joy for me, my first barra measuring 109cm and weighing just over 15kg, yee ha!"
For a chance at winning some great prizes courtesy of Tropic Angler send in your best quality entries to Fishy Photos Comp to: comps@fishingworld.com.au.
