BERKLEY says its new NanoFil represents the next generation of fishing line.
The line is round and smooth and ideal for use on spinning reels.??
Berkley says NanoFil allows for effortless and accurate long casting with
reduced drag in the air and as a result
of its sensitivity, bending ability and zero memory, it also provides a
cleaner casting action, with fewer tangles and knots.
In
development for six years, Nanofil isn't a
monofilament, fluorocarbon or braid, but a unifilament line. To achieve this, hundreds
of stonger-than-steel Dyneema Nano filaments are molecularly linked
and shaped to make a line that's supple like monofilament but
with the performance characteristics of a braid. Fishing World is currently field testing NanoFil and will feature the results as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
