Boab Boat Hire offer boat licence courses

WITH an over whelming demand from customers, Boab boat hire is now offering boat licence courses.

Teaming up with Yachting Australia (YA), Boab will begin to roll out the new licensing courses throughout their various franchise locations that will than allows customers to obtain a boat licence/skippers ticket in there state.

With the Wollongong location the first to be up and running, it will soon be followed by Jervis Bay, Hawkesbury, Sydney harbour, Pittwater, Port Stephens & Forster, while locations in QLD, VIC & WA will follow in the near future.

Boab boat hire director Paul Gelfius said that the overwhelming feedback from existing customers who had hired their boat and had previously got their licence was that there wasn’t enough practical training offered.

“We see a void in the amount of practical training offered, which is why we teamed up with YA as we believe they offer some of the best on water training courses”.

“The point of difference that we see, is our courses offer more one on one training(4-1), which allows us to spend more time with the candidate and intern create a better learning environment. We are also exploring training options with children & schools, as we see the children of today as the future of the marine industry”.

Boab license courses cover a full day on water practical and theory, and cover everything you need to feel safeon the water.
