Organisers have promisied the show will satisfy everyone who loves boating, or aspires to spend more time on the water.

QUEENSLAND'S most comprehensive recreational marine exhibition opens next week, August 23 to 25, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) South Bank, and promises to satisfy everyone who loves boating, or aspires to spend more time on the water.

From prestige watercraft, to practical fishing vessels, tinnies and kayaks, organisers says the Brisbane Boat Show will be a fun family day out and an exciting weekend for everyone who loves boating on the fabulous waterways and coastal areas in this great part of Australia.

With floor capacity now filled with exhibitors, next week the BCEC at South Bank will feature new watercraft, kayaks, jet skis, engines, trailers and accessories, as well as state-of-the-art communications, safety and fish finding technologies.

Domenic Genua, Marketing and Event Manager for the Boating Industry Association Ltd who organise the show, said the enthusiasm for the event reflects Queensland’s love of recreational boating, fishing, skiing and wake boarding.

“Many exhibitors are now trying to squeeze every last inch out of their exhibition space,” he said.

“This will be a show where anyone who loves spending time on the water will be further inspired by the range of boats and all the gear that goes with them, all in the one place.”

A number of local, interstate and international businesses are presenting new releases and water sporting products, including some very exciting water skiing and wakeboarding craft, a growing sport in the state.

The show is open each day from 10 am. Visitors are advised to consider purchasing tickets online to avoid queues. Adult tickets are $15. Concessions are available for families, kids and seniors, with individual entry just $5 after 5 pm (5 pm ticket offer can be purchased onsite at the show only, excludes family tickets).
