According to a NSW DPI – Fisheries spokesperson, you can, for now.
NSW DPI told Fisho: “The community is being asked to stay home to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you choose to fish it is vital you follow guidelines around social distancing, and restrictions around gatherings of two or more people. Those aged over 70 are also being urged not to leave their home except for exercise. It is also important to understand that all fisheries rules and regulations continue to apply including bag limits, possession limits and size limits. Fisheries officers continue to monitor compliance.”
