THERE'S been a decade of development and refinement put into Shimano's Chronarch baitcasters.
The modern generation features seven bearings — six A-RB ball bearing and one stainless steel roller bearing — while the Dartanium II Cross Carbon drag has a wide range, capable of fishing a variety of line breaking strains (both mono and braid).
Chronarchs also have High Efficiency Gearing (HEG), a single piece frame made from aircraft-grade aluminium and a Magnumlite spool drilled for additional weight saving and freer movement.
The Variable Braking System (VBS), which is accessed by a turn key mechanism on the sideplate, means even newcomers to baitcaster use can be casting like a pro in no time flat.

THERE's a large array of cool fishing pliers and handy tools on the market these days...
SO how do you combat the over abundance of optical grade lenses out there and bring something to the table that's not only different but a few steps ahead?
