Ocean Kayak has introduced an innovative new insulated storage compartment as an add on feature to its popular Prowler Ultra 4.7 kayak range.This box can be used to keep fish chilled on ice or as a live-well to keep bait or fish alive, or simply just as some added storage for your water craft.

The back room boys at Ocean Kayak have given this product a fair bit of thought before introducing it. As a result, Ultra 'yaks need no modifications for the box to be added. It simply slides straight into the already recessed area behind the paddler’s seat. A couple of elastic tie downs hold it in position and it is good to go. The box is 1050mm long, 420mm wide and 250mm deep. At this size the ice box can actually hold fish over a metre long. It features a flip top lid that can actually be altered depending on which way is more comfortable for you to spin around and open it from.

The box features a drain at the rear, making it easy to double as a live well.
