CrossXCountry relocates

INNOVATIVE Aussie boat building company, CrossXCountry Boats (CXC Boats), has moved to larger premises.

CXC Boats has relocated to waterfront premises in Cabbage Tree Point between
Brisbane and the Gold Coast to accommodate a recent rise in boat orders, increased
staff numbers and new production processes.

Founder and General Manager of CXC Boats, Tyson Dethridge, said the relocation was the
first step in the company's expansion plan to meet the demands of this significant growth
phase and prepare for Queensland's recovery.

"CXC Boats will be an integral part of the redevelopment plans of the Walkers Marina at
Cabbage Tree Point, and we have plans to operate a retail outlet on the water incorporating boat hire facilities, a 'bait and tackle' shop, kiosk facilities and community events," Dethridge said.

CXC Boats started out three years ago as a sole boat builder working from a residential
garage and now employs eight staff. The builder's small, lightweight boats are manufactured using the E-Lite construction process, and are popular with both serious competition fishermen and amateur anglers.
