Adrian Mikkelson was part of the Squidgy team that took out first place in the teams event.

THE 2017 Dave Irvine Memorial Snapper Classic has been run and won earlier this month.

The event was a great success with a total 230 anglers making up 95 teams, including 8 jumiors, 6 kayak anglers and 5 ladies. The anglers caught and release 1144 legal snapper, the average size of which was 49 cm.

Junior: Sonny Bootland
Biggest snapper: Steven McCarthy
Kayak: Tim Bennett
Team: Squidgy
Overall: Shaun Cameron.
