Dave Irvine Memorial Snapper Classic this weekend

THE Dave Irvine Memorial Snapper Classic committee and the Coffs Harbour Deep Sea Fishing Club are hosting the 6th annual Dave Irvine Memorial Snapper classic over this coming June long weekend. 

This event has become one of the premium lure-only catch & release snapper comps on the east coast and is held in memory of Dave Irvine who was the designer of the Brag mat & Environet and was an advocate for catch & release and safe fish handling..

The Classic this year will again be open to kayak anglers, along with boat anglers.

The comp has once again been highly supported with this year's sponsors including: Evinrude, Shimano, Gamakatsu, Fishing tackle Australia, Ocean Kayak, Camera House, Coffs Harbour Marine, Savage boats, Platypus fishing line & Paint Smart - to name a few. There are over $35,000 in prizes, trophies and lucky angler giveaways up for grabs.
The 1st 200 entries will receive the limited DIMSC shirt, plus teams will also receive the tournament bag full of goodies from our sponsors.

The major prize this year is a Savage boat and trailer powered by an Evinrude outboard motor.
