THE Fish For Life campaign started by Mark Ratchford and Scott Hooper aims to fulfill the pair’s dream to use their abilities to raise money for the Cancer Council.
The idea behind this event is to circumnavigate the Australian coastline including Tasmania, while “Fishing For Life”.
Mark and Scott aim to travel and fish between certain destinations along Australia’s coast in an Australian made Evolution trailer boat – all of the destinations are detailed in the Fish For Life membership package on the campaign website.
The pair will be offering certain legs of the journey to individual sponsors so they can be involved in the adventure.
The campaign departure is expected to be from Melbourne in July 2015. A road crew will be driving around Australia following the boat’s progress and hoping to involve communities at each port of call.
