Fish frames wanted in exchange for prizes

AFL great and keen fisho Glen Jakovich teamed up with pro-filleter Peter Goulding from The Fishing School over Christmas to help promote the WA Department of Fisheries Send Us Your Skeletons program.

The boys filleted fish for anglers returning to Hilarys Boat ramp and collected the frames.

Anglers are being encouraged to donate frames of key demersal and nearshore species including dhufish, pink snapper, baldchin groper, herring, tailor, garfish and whiting.

Program participants donating frames before 1 July, 2012 are eligible to win a range of prizes, including a Monte Bello Islands charter trip.
