FISHO went back to basics yesterday on the NSW South Coast to film a segment for our upcoming online TV series, Fishing Journeys.
The location was the Shoalhaven River at Nowra, an estuary system Fishing World’s editor & publisher Jim Harnwell spent a lot of time as a young fella exploring and learning many of fishing’s basics.
The shoot saw us pump the river’s sand flats for squirtworms to use as live bait which would hopefully produce some quality bread & butter species like bream, blackfish or whiting. We also waded the flats and threw surface lures for whiting and managed to spook some nice flatties in the process …
Stay tuned to see the results of the shoot when Fishing Journeys goes online! In the meantime here are a few pics from yesterday’s filming session.
