Freaky names, cool rods

Nitro's latest heavy duty rods look to have big fish duties covered - with names like Kamikaze and Widow Maker the big beasties might also be swimming scared...

Nitro’s new Big Game spinning rods, the 15kg Kamikaze and the 24kg Widow Maker, are specifically designed to complement the top-of-the-line spinning reel class. Whether  switch-baiting for billfish, trolling for tuna, jigging for Samson fish or even casting 10-inch poppers to giant trevally these sticks have you covered.

Nitro says no other game rods can match the versatility of its Big Game series. Two-piece spinning rods, they feature FUJI components throughout from gimbal, reel seat and silicon carbide guide. The Kamikaze has a takedown length of Kamikaze 127.5cms (50”) and Widow Maker 113cms (44.50”) making these rods the highest quality and airline friendly.

They also feature hypalon grips for easier removal from rodholders on strike.
