Glo shows the way

GLoRope Australia specialises in serious glow in the dark products for work, safety and leisure.

GloRope has an adhesive backed vinyl that can be cut into any shape and will stick onto almost any clean surface to highlight over head or tripping hazards, or to help you find power switches or tools in the dark. Charge it under light for five minutes and it will glow for 6+ hours.

The company has a range of rope from a 2mm nylon right through to a serious range of Dyneema and Static Kernmantle for rescue. The ropes all have a reflective trace and glow in the dark for 8-10 hours after charging under light or in daylight for 1-2 hours.

GloRope's marine buoys and fenders are made by Tailor Made in the US. They are available in various sizes and will glow brightly all night.

There is also a range of waterproof fabrics that could be made into all manner of things, and can be used to trim work safety wear, boating apparel or PFDs to give a greater level of visibility out on a dark night. The fabric is 145cm wide and sold by the metre. It will glow in the dark for well over three hours after just 12 minutes of charging under light.
