EVERYONE has an opinion of sharks! Staff from the University of NSW, Sydney, are currently conducting research into the public perception of sharks. In particular, they are looking at people’s lived expereince such as personal background and ocean use. As a part of this study a short (~10min) survey has been created and is publicly available at the following link http://unsw.to/sharksurvey. This research aims to get a further understanding of what people think of sharks and why, in order to accurately guide shark management in Australia.
