North Sydney is proposing to make the Tunks Park boat ramp harder to use.

ARE you a recreational fisher, boater or paddler who uses, or may use, the North Sydney Boat Ramp at Tunks Park Northbridge?

Then please spend a few minutes reading the background material, and sharing this with your friends now. If nothing is done, then we will have reduced and limited access to another Sydney Harbour boat ramp.

Have Your Say NOW, before the October 24, 2018, relating to North Sydney Council’s draft proposals to:

  • Modify the boat ramp flow and process, just making it harder for you to use from your arrival to when you leave,
  • Reduce the number of dedicated car trailer parking spots, with no simple solution to deal with overflow/peak parking times of use,
  • Introduce paid parking, with a maximum of 6 hours
  • Install boom gates to limit daily and weekend access times.

These are just a few points contained in the draft document, some are good, others not so.
