The latest feature in the Humminbird arsenal is a product called SwitchFire.
It features two unique modes designed to give you complete control to adjust your sounder unit's display to suit the prevailing fishing conditions. With SwitchFire Sonar in MAX mode you’ll see the tiniest subsurface object - even thermoclines and water currents - for complete underwater coverage.
Switch the setting over to CLEAR mode and Time Variable Gain (TVG) software sifts through sonar returns to display only fish and structure. This is great for fishing in shallow and rough water, or reducing undesired clutter in the water column.
On top of MAX and CLEAR mode Humminbird has also introduced 3 new colour palettes to provide even more flexibility on the water to deal with overcast or full-sun conditions.
