Rovex has expanded its popular Big Boss II Spin Reel range, adding new 3000 and 4000 sizes for even more choices for your estuary and inshore fishing, with the full range now covering seven sizes from the new 3000 up to the big 9000.
The new sizes—like their bigger siblings—feature an aluminium body and side plate construction, a machined aluminium handle and an aluminium spool, complete with a rubber grip ring for spooling braided line. The heavy-duty polymer rotor helps minimise weight in the smaller sizes.
Rovex Big Boss II reels are strong on the inside, too, with six stainless steel ball bearings, a stainless steel main shaft, rock-solid infinite anti-reverse, plus a powerful and smooth carbon-fibre drag system. The big handle grip and 5.2:1 gear ratio in the new sizes provides plenty of power for intense battles with saltwater predators, and the 3000 and 4000 size deliver a maximum drag of 8kg, so you can confidently cast into situations where they need to punch above their weight.
