More power for Tohatsu 20

Tohatsu's 20hp four-stroke outboard is now available with power tilt and trim on both its electric start tiller and forward control models.

Tohatsu says its 20hp model is one of the smallest outboards available with a fully operational power tilt. Electric start on select models and the decompression feature on manual units makes for easy starting, while for those running electric trolling motors, sounders and lights a 12amp charging coil on EF versions (optional on manual models) will be appreciated.

A new air silence system and tuned intake has improved noise levels and provides a crisper cleaner holeshot.

Added to the 20hp tiller version is a well located forward gear shift and a steering friction lever.

Available in 15”, 20” and ultra-long 25” (with optional kit fitted), the latter is already proving popular with twin hull vessels.
