THE International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, better known as ICAST, kicked-off in the US this week. The tackle show – held in Orlando, Florida – provides Aussies a sneak peek at some of the latest fishing gear from global brands before our own, albeit smaller, tackle show – AFTA.
Earlier this week, PENN revealed it’s all-new, flagship spinning reel: the Authority. Also noteworthy, Shimano revealed an innovative swimbait that folds back on itself when casting, allowing it to cut through the air better, drastically increasing casting distance – alleviating the bugbear of big baits.
