The rollout of new on-water access to six Victorian reservoirs has commenced.

IN big news for Victorian anglers, the rollout of new on-water access to six Victorian reservoirs has commenced.

Last week Maree Edwards MP, the Victorian Fisheries Authority and Coliban Water launched Barkers Creek Reservoir as the first of six reservoirs to allow kayaks and canoes on its waters meaning safe, easy and ongoing access to our fishers. Not to mention they have all been recently stocked for the first time with native fish. If you ever needed an excuse to go out and buy a fishing kayak this is it.

Non-powered on-water access to other waterways, including Tullaroop, Lauriston, Hepburn, Upper Coliban and Malmsbury reservoirs, will follow shortly.

What's your reaction?
