the biggest buzz I get is building your own rod then catching fish with it.

I don't want to knock BCF and Wilson too much but I will make the comment that I have been doing this for years. All of my rods include the customers name or nic name. Each of the names is done on a custome made deca and covered by 2 layers of epoxy. The customer has the choice of whatever he wants on the rod.
