SEA Jay Boats has released the Avenger Sports, a model derived from the Avenger range and featuring a side console configuration.
The Avenger Sports has a big family, with six model sizes available, from the 4.25 through to the 5.35. The full range features 4.25, 4.4, 4.55, 4.85, 5.0 and 5.35 models.
Available in both painted and non-painted versions, the Avenger Sports is built tough and features 3mm plate bottom and sides – the only exception is the 4.25 model, which has 3mm bottom and 2.5mm plate sides.
Fitted with plenty of storage, the Avenger Sports has front and rear cast platforms with hatches built in. The battery is accommodated under the front cast platform and a storage rack is fitted for safety gear.
An electric motor plate is fitted off the front gunwale, together with a bowsprit and roller on the front deck for easy anchor retrieval. A sounder mount and switch panel plate is fitted within the hull for all electronic needs. Plenty of rod holders are on offer with six fitted to the wide side decks. Two fully upholstered folding seats with five socket positions provide comfort and ease of movement around the boat.
The Avenger Sports is adequately equipped when it comes to fuel range, with the 4.4 and 4.55 models featuring 65 litre under floor tanks; the 4.85 is fitted with an 85 litre tank, the 5.0 has a 100 litre tank and the 5.35 boasts a huge 120 litre tank.
The hulls feature Sea Jay’s reverse chine Sure Trac hull with an external keel for easy tracking. This feature is now incorporated within the 4.4 model also.
