Sneak Peek: New Jackson kayaks

LAST week Fisho’s boating editor Scott Thomas and his brother Mark managed to get hold of a couple of brand new fishing kayaks from Jackson, courtesy of Penrith-based dealer Horizonline Canoes, and headed out on the water to chase bass.

The two Jacksons pictured here are the new 4m BigRig, which amongst its notable features is a folding grab rail which provides extra stability when fishing standing.

The smaller ‘yak is the new Cruise 10, which is basically a shorter version of Jackson’s very popular 13’ Coosa.

While the bass fishing was nothing to write home about, Scott and Mark came away pretty impressed with the new Jacksons. Stay tuned for more details in a full review in Fishing World’s December summer-long issue.
