THE 2019 Gold Coast Flathead Classic wrapped up last Friday with team Wilson Fishing taking out the coveted “Top Team” title for the event.
Runners-up Team Sands weren’t far behind Wilson Fishing while Reel Easy took out third place. Fisho’s own David Green, Mark Frendin and Michael Green came in at 6th place in team Dead Fishy, while team Fishing World comprised of Ian “Big E” Phillips, Juilan Viselli and Alan Dekker came in at 73rd place. Top female angler was awarded to Melissa Henderson, while Steve Ward took out top male angler.
Team Wilson Fishing anglers Kord Luckus, Robert Payne and Scott Fleming reported good catches using the 3.5 inch Zerek Flat Shad and trolling the Zerek Tango Shad.
