I’VE had lures made or designed by Rob Gaden in my tackle boxes for more than 20 years and working as a fishing guide they have always been “go to” lures.
Gaden lures have been strong and reliable with great fish catching actions and a fantastic range of colours and I’ve never had any qualms about tying one on a client’s rod.
Recently, I’ve had the chance to play with some of Rob’s new range of Cutting Edge lures and as predicted, they have caught a whole stack of tropical fish.
Barra, jacks, golden snapper, threadies, mackerel and more have all been taken using a range of Cutting Edge lures.
So far my favourites have been the Tomahawk 75mm, Rock Prawn 90mm, Cherabin 120mm and The Axe in 130mm and 180mm lengths.
There are more lures in the range to give a run and I look forward to giving them a try out in the near future.
