THOUSANDS of passionate fishos turned out in Sydney today to march on Parliament House demanding an end to unfair marine park lock-outs.
Despite a recent backdown over lock-outs, the rally went ahead as planned sending a powerful message to current and future Governments.
With Sydney Marine Park submissions officially closing tonight, it is hoped future governments reassess their policy on marine park lock-outs across the state or face a stong voter backlash at the poll next March.
Today’s rally was organised by the Shooters, Fishers & Farmers Party and the Stop The Lockout Facebook page.
