Tohatsu has longheld a reputation for the reliability of its outboard engines. In keeping with Tohatsu's ideal that preservation of the environment is a global responsibility, the manufacturer has continued to develop its Environmental Action Plan and in 2010 releases its OEDA 3 Star rated TLDI (two-stroke low-pressure direction injection) range of outboards.
The new 2010MY TLDI range incorporates a new-look decal on all models along with an advanced cowl design on the 75 (new model) and 90hp models. The Tohatsu 2010 range includes TLDI (two-stroke low-pressure direct injection) 40hp-115hp models, 2.5hp–30hp four-stroke models and conventional 2.5hp-140hp two-stroke carburettor models.
Tohatsu's Australian National Distributor Lakeside Marine will have a full range of 2010 Tohatsu outboards on display at this year's Sydney International Boat Show.

Very good engines. I've had an old carby 2 stroke 50 for years. Blows a liitle smoke when it is cold. Starts first time. Has never let me down. Will definitely look at an upgrade to a new TLDI!
