Top flathead tips in October Fishing World

FISHING World magazine’s October issue is out now and packed with great sport fishing reading – and a bonus Shimano Gear Guide.

This issue’s cover story, “Early Season Lizards” by big flathead specialist Paul Lennon details where and how you can target some quality lizards this spring.

On the same topic, Fisho’s David Green has caught more flathead on lures than a fair share of us put together. In the October issue Greeny details his latest hot techniques for luring more flatties your way.

In October Fisho, veteran rock fisherman John Newbery’s piece on shore-based options available to Sydney fishos is aptly complemented by a stunning photo essay by photographer, Bill Karayannis. These photos rock!

Also this issue, we have practical feature articles on how to target Eucumbene trout on blades and hard body lures; No boat? No worries! Chris Cleaver details the options available to shore-based fishos; Kris Sweres has been maximising his fishing fun by using bream gear for snapper; Dave Rae explains how to plan for your tropical sportfishing adventure; and keen rod builder Adam Royter takes an indepth look at Fuji’s innovative K Series guides.

Also in October Fisho, you’ll find topical columns including:

  • David Green on why he reckons the Micro Mullet is one of the best ever flattie trolling lures.
