HAYMAN Reese has recently launched its SmartLED 7 pin flat wiring tails – an advancement of the common trailer connector.
With winter around the corner and longer nights approaching, plugging and unplugging trailer wiring from your vehicle can become difficult in the dark.
The SmartLED tail incorporates a powerful LED lighting system that when activated, provides extra light when hooking up.
Simple and easy to use, the SmartLED Tail consists of two settings – each suiting a particular need. High(220 lumens), and low (80 lumens). High level light is activated by shifting into reverse twice within five seconds ideal for extra light while reversing. Low level light is activated by opening the socket cover and is ideal for use when hooking up your caravan or trailer in the dark.
The SmartLED wiring tail is compatible with Hayman Reese SmartClick wiring looms meaning no scotch locking or soldering is required with Hayman Reese towbar wiring. With a length of 1500mm, the SmartLED Tail provides an easy connection to vehicle wiring and is C-tick compliant meeting Australian EME standards.
The SmartLED Trailer Plug can be submerged temporarily in up to 1.5 metres of water thanks to its watertight casing.
