IN this latest video from WA’s peak representative fishing body Recfishwest, two keen fly fishers embark on a self sufficient week of flats fishing in the remote Dampier Archipelago.
Their target is one of Australia’s most prized flats residents, the enigmatic blue bastard. In this first instalment of the trip, Brad “Spreader” Bell gives an insight into how these fish got their colourful name.
