FISHO writer Mark Ward this week texted in a photo of his mate Kelvin Moon, seen here holding one slightly out of proportion Cape York barramundi.
Wardy reports the "boofheaded" barra was caught in the Wenlock River north of Weipa by Moon, a mines fire and rescue worker and volunteer paramedic based in the Far North Queensland town.
Surprisingly, the fish that looks to be a "metrey" candidate, only stretched the tape measure to 95cms. Still a nice barra, Kelvin, well done!
