BRAZIL is to be the host nation of the 7th World Recreational Fishing Conference (WRFC) to be held from September 1-4, 2014.
This is the first time this prestigious event has been held in a developing country.
The conference theme, keynote speakers, program and discussions were decided by the members of the International Advisory Board, the Brazilian Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee based upon the criteria of inter-multidisciplinary approaches for the investigation of needs and problems related to the recreational fishing area.
Conference attendees will be directly or indirectly related to the development of recreational fishing worldwide. These will include instructors, professors, fishing operators, research groups, students, managers, biologists, governmental representatives, economists, policy makers, NGO representatives and, of course, sport fishermen.
The organsiers hope that participants from around the world find the conference enjoyable, significant, and enlightening, while at the same time facilitating the creation of strong ties within the worldwide recreational fishing community.
