The line-up of CruiseCraft Explorer fishing boats has expanded with the release of the new Explorer 485 model.
Measuring 4.95m long (including bowsprit) the Explorer 485's basic configuration features a cuddy cab with open vee storage bins, big forward walk-through deck hatch and expansive cockpit for heaps of family fishing space.
The boat is rated to carry four adults with the maximum power on the transom limited to 90hp, in either two-stroke or four-stroke configuration. The recommended power is 70hp.
The Explorer 485 is packaged with a single axle galvanised trailer, and with a kerbside weight of (approx) 1100 kgs, the boat is easy to tow, back and store.
Inside the boat is typical Cruise Craft plush upholstery, including padded coamings, a walk through transom door and a big walk through deck hatch.
At the helm there's ample dash space for engine instrumentation and marine electronics; the helm and passenger seats are fitted to elevated pedestals while additional seating is provided across the rear of the cockpit with the optional full width fold down rear bench seat.
