NEW to Shimano Australia, the Coltsniper BB range comes direct from the Japanese domestic market. Specifically designed for shore-based lure casting, there are six models in 9′, 9′ 6” and 10′ lengths, and are built on blanks utilising Shimano’s Hi-Power X Wrap technology.
Designed to be paired with Shimano’s Coltsniper hardbody lures and jigs, they are ideal for working both the surf and rock ledges using a variety of presentation techniques. The rods are rated between PE2 and PE4 (“What is PE rating?”), with varying maximum casting weights from 60g to 100g.
Shimano says, the lightweight graphite blanks allow repetitive casting without fatigue, and the ability to cover more water to find actively feeding fish. Whether high speed spinning for pelagics or shore jigging for fish closer to the bottom, these rods have been proven in the harshest of offshore testing grounds worldwide.
