SHIMANO says the new and improved JDM Shimano Ocea gloves have been enhanced to provide the angler with the ultimate experience and comfort while out fishing, even in the most extreme conditions.
Shimano has integrated only the best material to suit the harsh Australia climate. Using an ultra-thin titanium alloy, this provides the angler with insulation and warmth in cold environments, while also allowing your hands to breathe and acquire protection when in the hot Australian sun.
The gloves further provide superb grip in wet conditions, whilst also protecting the wearer’s palms from abrasive materials like braid and sharp scales and spikes from fish. An added feature to the gloves is the redesign of the velcro strap, which comes across the base of the hand to overall improve moveability of the wrist whilst casting and jigging. Similarly, the reinforced non-slip material on the index finger and palm has been ungraded to improve line feel and management in wet conditions.
