THE NSW DPI Dollar for Dollar Native Fish Stocking Program is back offering matching funding to purchase fish from registered private hatcheries for restocking into approved public waters in NSW.

Angling and community groups, individuals, councils and other relevant organisations are encouraged to apply for the 2020/2021 program which is a well supported initiative to help recover our recreational fisheries.

Matching funds between $1,000 and $6,000 are available from the Recreational Fishing Trust to stock high priority recreational fishing species including Australian bass, golden perch and Murray cod, pending their availability.

Applications close on Friday 26 June 2020.
