GERMAN LBG specialist Dennis Verreet broke the internet yesterday posting this photo of a giant yellowfin tuna spun-up off the stones.
Fisho contacted Dennis and understandably he can’t reveal the location of its capture. While details of its capture remain a mystery, Dennis has set the bar high for land based game fishos everywhere. Awesome capture, Dennis! Looking forward to seeing what’s next.
The fish, which gaffed by his wife, went 230lb (104kg) and was caught using a Saltiga GT 86 rod with a Daiwa Dogfight 8000 H filled with WFT (World Fishing Tackle) strong line in 51 kg. The lure was an Angel Tackle pencil popper.
